⁶ They have ^[a]set a ^(A)net for my steps;
My soul is ^(B)bowed down;
They ^(C)dug a pit before me;
They themselves have ^(D)fallen into the midst of it. Selah.

^7 (E)My ^(F)heart is set, O God, my heart is set;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises!
⁸ Awake, ^(G)my glory!
Awake, ^(H)harp and lyre!
I will awaken the dawn.
